Instant - Illusion
Target creature gets -2/-0 and doesn't untap during its controller's next untap step.

D&D has a lot of different schools of spells. Enchantment is already a type, but I'd like to have a few different other types here. The problem I see with Illusion is that it's already a creature type, but I'd like to expand on it.

Distracter Adept
Creature - Kithkin Wizard
Illusion spells you cast cost 1 less to cast.
Whenever you cast an Illusion spell, you may tap or untap target creature.

The thing I like about this is it triggers on Illusions of both types - creatures and spells.

Trained Drake
Creature - Drake
Team Up
~ and all creatures teamed up with it gain Flying.

Basic Team Up ability. The wording for Team Up is (When this creature enters the battlefield, you may team up with another creature or team if none of those cards share more than one creature type.)

Studious Gnome
Creature - Gnome Wizard
Whenever you draw a card, you may put a level counter on ~.
Level Up (2) 0/1
<3-6> 2/2
<7+> T:Draw a card. 4/4

Little guy who gets bigger naturally. This shows some expansion on the level up mechanic.

Illusory Avatar
Sorcery - Illusion
Put a 2/2 Illusion creature token onto the battlefield.
2U: Return ~ to your hand. Use this ability only if you control no creatures and only if ~ is in your graveyard.

This is a cycle of repeatable token production with different conditions for returning it your hand. The green one makes Wolves, the black makes zombies (and is a Necromancy spell), etc.

Sapphire Trinket
Enchantment - Loot
Whenever a creature an opponent controls dies, sacrifice ~. If you do, return up to two target creature to their owner's hands.

I wanted to make these cards feel like you get a loot drop after defeating a monster. The mechanic needs some work, but I think it could be a lot of fun.
